Corporate Overview
Founded in 1997, TIPS was originally formed by a group of publishing and editorial employees who worked for Ventana Communications. As part of Ventana, they published over 100 titles in 1997, including:
- 38 Official Netscape Press titles
- Sybase Press
- Official AOL Tour Guides
- The Programmer's Reference Series
- The Enhanced Series - intermediate to advanced graphics titles
- The F/X Series - an over-the-top group of graphics titles
- Looking Good In Print
After almost a decade, TIPS has matured into a full-service book production company. We support all leading page composition programs, although we prefer Adobe FrameMaker for its technical book features and XML output.
We are also the agent for a group of technical authors. And, to keep our hands in technology (and for fun), we provide a small group of companies with an Internet presence.
